Overview

Hello, my name's Xlaudio ( Claudio ).
Cdmio is a cdplayer for LINUX, and virtually for many UNIX systems, written in C.
The program was born in the summer of 1999 but I had to postpone further developement because of some personal motivations.
In its very first release, Cdmio had only text interface, without applets & so on. A Gtk interface was there, but I couldn't continue developing this program due to lack of time.
I made its code available on my web page, hoping for some pious soul to help me to developing it.
Luckily enough, a pious soul came out, Tasslehof ( fabio@urania.fisica.unige.it ), at the beginning of this year (2000), who took the code, improved it a bit, had the graphic interface working ( improving it quite a lot! ), and added a lot of applets: vu-meter, spectrum analyzer, waveform display and OpenGL stuff.
Now the developement continues thanks to this "fantasmagorica" collaboration.
Me and Tasslehof, hope that other people become interested in the development, thus helping us making CDMIO an excellent cdplayer. Finally there are some available screenshots.
